Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown is getting a notable broadcast change for international audiences. The full episode will be available on Netflix without the commercial breaks that air during the USA Network version in the United States.
That means fans watching WWE through Netflix will get an uninterrupted show, free of the usual USA Network ad breaks.
Nothing changes on the domestic side. SmackDown still airs on USA Network at 8 p.m. ET as scheduled.
As previously reported here at Wrestling Noticias, tonight’s episode is not live. WWE taped the entire show last Monday, immediately following RAW, at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Canada.
The announced card features Jacy Jayne defending the WWE Women’s United States Championship against Paige, Tatum Paxley taking on Michin, and Chelsea Green teaming with Tiffany Stratton to face Nia Jax and Lash Legend. CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton are also part of tonight’s lineup.
While this episode airs, WWE will be in Cleveland taping another round of RAW and SmackDown episodes set to air next week.
