WWE opened Monday’s RAW with a tribute to Benjamin Satterley, known to WWE fans as Neville. The show was held at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Satterley died on Sunday, September 27. He was 40. AEW, where he had competed as PAC since 2019, officially confirmed his death. No cause of death has been released.
His death came just one day after his final match. PAC wrestled Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship at All Out on Saturday and later appeared during the Will Ospreay vs. Jon Moxley main event.
Triple H paid his own tribute before RAW, focusing mainly on how important Satterley was to NXT’s growth. “Saddened to hear about the death of Ben Satterley,” he wrote, noting that he had the pleasure of working with Satterley in the early days of NXT.

“This moment, from NXT Arrival, marked the beginning of a new era for that brand and the men and women on it,” Triple H continued, “and Ben was a major force behind that. He was an extraordinary talent and even kinder human being. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans across the world.”
During his WWE run, Neville won the NXT Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship and became a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion. His NXT Championship reign lasted 286 days, from February to December 2014.
AEW also announced that Dynamite on Wednesday, September 30, will be dedicated entirely to PAC’s life, career, and legacy. The show will air at 8 p.m. ET on TBS and HBO Max in the United States.
