WWE released a list of the ten best Hell in a Cell Matches in history this past Friday (the 10th).
The list arrives just weeks before SummerSlam, where Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi will meet again, this time inside the structure. Since its debut in 1997, there have been 53 Hell in a Cell Matches. The Undertaker leads the record book with 14 appearances and eight wins.
Topping the list is the historic match between The Undertaker and Mankind at King of the Ring 1998. The match is remembered for Foley being thrown onto the announcers’ table and, later, crashing through the roof of the Cell into the ring.
Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins come in at No. 3 for their 2022 match. Rhodes entered the ring with a completely torn pectoral tendon, turning the bout into one of the most striking images in recent WWE history.
