AEW All In: London takes place this Sunday at Wembley Stadium, and as has become tradition at the company’s marquee events, the expectation for surprise appearances is running high.
This time around, Tony Khan has several notable free agents at his disposal. A number of them departed WWE in recent months and have already been linked to AEW.
Here are four possibilities.
4 – Aleister Black
This might be the most unlikely name on the list. Aleister Black, once again going by Malakai Black outside of WWE, has been a free agent since wrapping up his second stint with the company.
The complication is his history with AEW itself. Black was part of the roster from 2021 to 2025 and won the AEW World Trios Championship, but his exit left some relationships frayed.
Recent Fightful reporting indicated that AEW had not been working toward bringing him back. That said, Black remains unsigned and will be in the UK for PROGRESS dates in September. A Wembley appearance would be a genuine surprise.
3 – Kairi Sane
Kairi Sane was one of WWE’s most surprising post-WrestleMania 42 releases and has been a free agent since July.
According to Fightful Select, multiple companies have expressed interest in the Japanese star, who is now represented by Barry Bloom, well known for working with numerous AEW names. So far, though, no deal has been announced.
With Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné set to clash for the AEW Women’s World Championship, a post-match appearance by Sane would be a straightforward way to slot her right into the top of the division.
2 – Ilja Dragunov
Ilja Dragunov parted ways with WWE just this month after his contract expired. Because he wasn’t released, there’s no non-compete window to wait out, meaning he’s free to show up anywhere immediately.
Tony Khan has publicly praised Dragunov, and AEW sources believe the company will pursue the former NXT Champion.
The Casino Gauntlet Match feels almost tailor-made for a debut of this caliber.
1 – New Day
Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed are the overwhelming favorites.
Both left WWE after turning down a contract restructuring and have already cleared their 90-day non-compete windows. WrestleVotes Radio has reported that the expectation within AEW itself is that the two will debut at All In.
The biggest factor is the Casino Trios Royale Roulette for the AEW World Trios Championship. One of the seven teams entered is a “Wild Card” set to be revealed only during the event.
All the pieces appear to be in place for Kofi and Creed to begin a new chapter of their careers at Wembley.
