Andrade El Idolo picked up a huge edge heading into AEW All In: London. At Wednesday’s Grand Slam: Mexico, the reigning AEW National Champion defeated Tommaso Ciampa and Komander, securing the first entry into the Casino Gauntlet.
The match took place at Arena México and saw all three wrestlers with legitimate near-falls. Ciampa came close to victory after hitting the Project Ciampa, while Komander used his signature aerial offense to kick out of several pinfall attempts.
The decisive moment came when Andrade hit the DM on Komander, earning the pinfall victory. With the win, Andrade will be the first wrestler to enter the Casino Gauntlet at Wembley Stadium on 08/30.
The victory continues a strong run for Andrade in AEW. On 07/26, he defeated Mark Davis to win the AEW National Championship, his first title in the company. Three days later, he defeated Jack Perry and Nick Wayne in a Triple Threat Match, successfully defending the title for the first time.

12:37 AM · Aug 6, 2026After winning at Grand Slam: Mexico, Andrade said he intends to win the Casino Gauntlet and, in the future, the AEW World Championship, for Mexico and all the fans who supported him in the arena.
The celebration was interrupted when MJF returned and stormed the ring. The former world champion attacked Andrade from behind with his former title belt and reclaimed the Dynamite Diamond Ring.
MJF also announced he will compete for the second entry into the Casino Gauntlet on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
