Add as a preferred source on Google Angel Garza remains under WWE contract, but he’s already bracing for whatever comes next amid the company’s latest round of cuts.
Garza took to his official X account with a message about perseverance. He wrote, “Everyone wants the glory without going through the process.” A fan quickly replied, asking what would happen if he was the next name cut.
The Mexican star fired back, “It means that THAT IS PART OF YOUR PROCESS!” His response hit harder because WWE has resumed cuts following WrestleMania 42. The latest round included Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, JC Mateo and Tonga Loa.
Back in April, Berto had already sparked speculation about Los Garza leaving. He posted a photo alongside Angel with an hourglass.
Garza signed with WWE in 2019. Teaming with Berto, he also captured the AAA World Tag Team Championship at Triplemanía Regia. They defeated Nueva Generación Dinamita, The Nemeth Brothers, Psycho Clown and Pagano in a four-way match.
There is still no confirmation that Angel or Berto are leaving WWE. Even so, the backstage mood remains unsettled.
