Donovan Dijak isn’t ruling out a reunion with Baron Corbin, this time in WWE, following their tag team run together in MLW.
Dijak and Corbin, who wrestled as Bishop Dyer, teamed as The Skyscrapers and captured the MLW World Tag Team Championship on June 26, 2025, defeating Los Depredadores. The partnership lasted roughly a year before Corbin headed back to WWE.
Speaking with TheDaleStars, Dijak made it clear he’d welcome the chance to work with his former partner again if the circumstances line up.
“I’d certainly be open to it under the right and correct circumstances… the amount of time we got to work together was unfortunately a little too brief. In that short amount of time, we were able to do some cool stuff. But the reality was it was only about a year, and MLW only runs about once a month, so we probably only had 12 or 13 matches together.
I certainly hope there’s more in the future. I don’t know what company that might be with, but I’m open to any possibility.”
Corbin returned to WWE on the July 10 Friday Night SmackDown, attacking Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes. Weeks later at SummerSlam on August 2, he defeated Williams to capture the United States Championship.
The new champion has already made his first televised defense. On the August 7 SmackDown, Corbin beat Trick Williams again to retain.
