Bo Dallas’s future in pro wrestling remains wide open more than four months after he was released in WWE‘s wave of cuts on April 24, 2026.
The former Uncle Howdy worked his last match on the April 17 SmackDown, where the Wyatt Sicks lost to MFT in an Eight-Man Tag Team Street Fight. Dallas hasn’t wrestled since.
During a recent Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about what’s next for Dallas and said he hasn’t heard anything about a return to wrestling.
“Not a peep. I know he’s doing appearances, conventions, signings, but I’ve not heard anything on the wrestling front. He didn’t wrestle outside of WWE before his return to the company. I know at one point he was discussed for a potential startup company, but that was when Bray Wyatt was still alive, and he would have been a part of it too.”
Dallas has been making public appearances, though. He was announced for WrestleCon in Minneapolis during SummerSlam weekend alongside Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Joe Gacy.
The startup promotion Sapp referenced isn’t a new idea. Back in 2023, Freddie Prinze Jr. revealed he had planned to build part of his wrestling project around Bray Wyatt and Taylor Rotunda before both returned to WWE.
As of now, no promotion has been confirmed as a landing spot for Dallas, and there’s no scheduled date for his first match since leaving WWE.
