Brie Bella and Paige aren’t planning to end their partnership after losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Fatal Influence.
The title change happened this past Saturday, July 18, at Saturday Night’s Main Event, held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid captured the titles after Jacy Jayne interfered in the match.
Visibly hurting after the loss, Brie and Paige made it clear afterward that this isn’t the end for the team.
“We’re going to keep fighting. It’s not over. So you guys stay tuned to watch us.”
The team came together on short notice at WrestleMania 42 on April 18. Paige stepped in for Nikki Bella, who did not receive medical clearance, and won the titles alongside Brie in a Fatal 4-Way Match against Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
During their reign, Brie and Paige made four successful defenses, beating the Irresistible Forces twice, along with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
WWE has not announced a rematch at this point. But given how the match ended, and what Brie and Paige had to say afterward, one seems likely to happen sooner or later.
