Add as a preferred source on Google Danhausen heads into night two of SummerSlam on Sunday (8/2) without a loss on his WWE record. The “Very Nice, Very Evil” star sits at 17-0 ahead of his match with Dominik Mysterio at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
That number covers both TV and house shows. Per Cagematch, Danhausen has worked five televised WWE matches and 12 untelevised dates since his in-ring debut against Kit Wilson on 4/10.
The Miz has taken the brunt of it, dropping 11 singles matches to Danhausen along the way. Wilson has lost three, while JD McDonagh went down in a No Disqualification Match at the 7/18 Saturday Night’s Main Event from Madison Square Garden. The other two wins came in tag matches, with Danhausen teaming alongside Minihausen and Matt Cardona.
His most recent match came on 7/26, when he beat Miz again at a house show in Bakersfield, California.
Sunday brings a different kind of test. Danhausen and Mysterio work a Human Monies on a Pole Match with $100,000 hanging above the ring. Mysterio’s AAA Mega Championship is not on the line, and the winner instead walks out with the money at the center of the Judgment Day feud.
WWE has pushed Danhausen well beyond weekly TV in the meantime. Working with ESPN, the company rolled out the Very Nice, Very Evil SummerSlam Freeze Tour, a themed truck handing out frozen treats and running fan activations around Minneapolis during SummerSlam week.
