Add as a preferred source on Google Bronson Reed used Oba Femi’s win over Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam to take a shot at Triple H while sticking up for his Vision stablemate, Bron Breakker.
Femi beat Lesnar in the Hell in a Cell match that closed out night one at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Lesnar hugged Femi after the finish, grabbed a mic and put him over as the future of WWE.
Not long after, Reed posted on X:
“And they were scared of Bron being shoved down your throats.”

Bron Breakker was pitched to win the Royal Rumble, but Triple H felt it would be seen as forcing Bron Breakker on the fans, so the plan was changed. (via WWE Unreal)

That was a direct reference to the third season of WWE Unreal, which showed Triple H and the creative team kicking around a Breakker win in the 2026 Royal Rumble before backing off the idea. WWE’s chief content officer said on the Netflix series that he worried the win would feel like the company was shoving Breakker down the fans’ throats, and he questioned whether Breakker was ready for the pressure that comes with winning the Rumble and being slotted at the top of the card. WWE went with Roman Reigns instead, while Breakker came in at No. 2 and was gone within seconds.
Femi, meanwhile, has been moved up the card at a much faster clip. The Ruler beat Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, dropped the rematch at Clash in Italy and beat him again on Saturday.
Reed offered no further explanation for the post. The jab does underline the gap between how WWE has handled Breakker and Femi, and it could plant the seeds for a program between the two down the line.
