Add as a preferred source on Google Danhausen has already chosen his next big target in WWE. After getting involved with names like The Miz, Kit Wilson, and Dominik Mysterio, the wrestler now has his sights set on none other than The Rock.
In a recent interview with Michael Fairman, Danhausen was asked which WWE name he would like to curse.
“Well, does The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, count? Him.”
Danhausen also commented on the possibility of being cursed by someone else, making it clear that wouldn’t happen.
“Danhausen cannot be cursed. He is the curse.”
The curious detail is that The Rock hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since March 2025, although he remains directly tied to the company behind the scenes. Dwayne Johnson has been on the board of TKO Group Holdings, WWE’s parent company, since January 2024.
Danhausen arrived in WWE in February at Elimination Chamber, and won his first match for the company on the April 10 SmackDown against Kit Wilson.
It’s still unclear whether the mention of The Rock will lead to anything on WWE programming. However, given the character’s growth in recent weeks, it wouldn’t be surprising if the company tried to turn the provocation into a special segment at a major PLE, like Summerslam for example.
