Add as a preferred source on Google DOC Gallows was backstage for the tapings of AEW Dynamite and Collision this past Wednesday, July 22, at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the former WWE wrestler was in the restricted area during production of both shows. The report, however, does not indicate that Gallows took part in the tapings or discussed a contract with AEW.
Gallows’ presence drew attention because of his history with a number of names in the company. He worked alongside Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks during the Bullet Club years and has maintained a long relationship with Rocky Romero and Kazuchika Okada.
The Nashville show also featured a match between Jay White and Clark Connors, followed by an attack from David Finlay. All three have been part of different chapters in Bullet Club history, the group in which Gallows won the IWGP Tag Team Championship three times alongside Karl Anderson.

Gallows’ last match in AEW came on September 1, 2021, when he and Anderson teamed with the Young Bucks to defeat the Lucha Brothers and Jurassic Express in the main event of Dynamite. The duo were appearing in the company at the time as part of its partnership with what was then Impact Wrestling.
Gallows and Anderson were released by WWE on February 8, 2025. Since then, the Good Brothers have returned to NJPW and started working regularly for MLW, where they remain in a rivalry over the MLW World Tag Team Championship.
In May 2025, Gallows had already made clear that the door was open for a possible return to AEW:
“Yeah, we’re an open book, and we have good relationships in both places. We wanted to be in New Japan first. We wanted to come here and do that. The book is open. Like we’ve told you many times in many years, there are a lot of conversations going on behind closed doors. We’ll see where it goes.”
As of now, however, there is no confirmation that the Nashville visit is related to a return or a future contract.
