Drew McIntyre has once again fueled fans’ desire for the return of “Broken Dreams” as his WWE entrance music.

In a post made this Friday, the Scottish Warrior showed the moment he heard the classic theme playing at a venue during WrestleMania 42 week. Upon hearing the music, McIntyre immediately walked into the venue and fired up the fans in attendance.

In the caption, the former WWE Champion joked that hearing “Broken Dreams” activated him “like the Winter Soldier,” in reference to the Marvel character.

The song was used by McIntyre during his first run with WWE and remains one of the most requested by fans. The company brought the theme back at Clash at the Castle 2022 in Cardiff, before his match against Roman Reigns, but only as part of that night’s special introduction.

Recently, McIntyre had already commented on the subject and said fans should pressure Triple H, since the final decision on the music’s return would depend on WWE.

Despite the renewed buzz, there is no official indication that “Broken Dreams” will return to being used regularly for McIntyre’s entrances.

It’s worth noting that McIntyre is coming off a loss to Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 42, in an Unsanctioned Match won by the “Samoan Werewolf.”

It remains to be seen whether fan reaction will lead WWE to reconsider using the song at a major future event.
