Kevin Knight continues to make history as AEW TNT Champion. On Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite in Nashville, Tennessee, the Don Callis Family member defeated Darby Allin to successfully defend the title for the 10th time.

Allin went after Knight before the bell had even rung. The former AEW World Champion connected with a Scorpion Death Drop and came close to picking up the win, but Knight capitalized on a referee bump to use the title belt as a weapon. Knight then hit a Coast-to-Coast and finished off Allin with the UFO Splash.

The win extended Knight’s TNT Championship defense streak. On the most recent episode of AEW Collision, he defeated AR Fox in his ninth title defense since capturing the vacant championship at Dynasty in April.

Since the start of his reign, Knight has defeated Claudio Castagnoli, MJF, HOOK, Brian Cage, and his former partner, Mike Bailey. Myron Reed, Dezmond Xavier, Lio Rush, AR Fox, and Darby Allin round out the list of ten defenses the champion has made so far.

Knight will have an opportunity to reach an even higher level this Sunday. At AEW Redemption in Montreal, he’ll challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship, with a chance to leave the event with both titles.
