AEW has announced a major International Championship match for Redemption. Kyle Fletcher will put the title on the line against reigning ROH World Champion Bandido at the July 26 pay-per-view at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

The feud began to take shape on Wednesday’s Dynamite in Boston. Bandido and Brody King defeated Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto, and shortly afterward, the Mexican wrestler interrupted a Fletcher interview and placed a “Wanted” poster on his chest.

Fletcher later defended the title against Komander, winning after hitting a Brainbuster. After the match, Konosuke Takeshita came out to stop the champion from removing his opponent’s mask, but Kazuchika Okada interfered and hit Takeshita with a Rainmaker.

The most unusual moment came seconds later, when Okada and Fletcher briefly fought over the title belt. Bandido and Brody King then came out and took both men down, with the ROH World Champion ending the segment by holding up the International Championship.

Backstage, Fletcher said he was not afraid of anyone and challenged Bandido to a match at Redemption. Okada, standing in the background, appeared unhappy with the situation but ultimately nodded in agreement.

Fletcher won the title one week ago at Beach Break, defeating Takeshita with help from Don Callis. Bandido, meanwhile, is coming off a successful ROH World Championship defense against Katsuyori Shibata on the most recent episode of Collision.
