Liv Morgan has reached a major milestone in her current run atop WWE. The Women’s World Champion now holds the longest active reign among all main roster titleholders.
Morgan captured the Women’s World Championship on April 18 at WrestleMania 42 Night One, defeating Stephanie Vaquer. The win kicked off her third reign with the title and ended Vaquer’s 210-day run as champion.
The margin separating Morgan from Roman Reigns is minimal. The current World Heavyweight Champion won his title just one day later, on April 19, defeating CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 42 Night Two. That leaves Morgan exactly one day ahead of Reigns among current champions.
10:34 AM · Aug 19, 2026The milestone carries even more weight given the volume of title changes across WWE’s main roster this summer. Since June 21, nine main roster championships have changed hands a combined 11 times. Morgan and Reigns are the only titleholders who have made it through that entire stretch with their belts intact.
Morgan also cleared her biggest hurdle of the reign at SummerSlam on August 1, defeating IYO SKY to retain the Women’s World Championship in what was her first televised defense of this run.
