Steven Borden caused a serious scare at AEW All Out, held Saturday at NOW Arena in the Chicago area.
Borden teamed with Darby Allin to face Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight, with the winners set to earn a future shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The match, however, ended unexpectedly after an incident involving Borden.
In the closing moments, Borden and Knight climbed up on opposite sides of the ring and leaped at the same time, colliding as they went for a move. Medical staff immediately entered the ring to check on Borden, and the referee stopped the match moments later. Fletcher and Knight were declared the winners.

Later in the broadcast, Tony Schiavone offered an update on Borden but did not share any further details. According to Dave Meltzer, Borden left the arena on a stretcher.
The incident came at the highest-profile point of Borden’s young career. The son of Sting, he recently said he decided to give pro wrestling a try after taking part in his father’s retirement match at Revolution 2024. He went on to wrestle dark matches before earning a regular spot on AEW television.
