CM Punk was on the receiving end of one of the most impressive moments from the WWE NXT live event on August 15, 2026, at the VSU Multipurpose Center in Petersburg, Virginia.
As previously reported here at Wrestling Noticias, the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion worked the main event alongside NXT Tag Team Champions Myles Borne and Tavion Heights, taking on the Vanity Project’s Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor, and Ricky Smokes.
Before the match even began, Punk and Myka Lockwood, the Vanity Project’s enforcer, got into a brief flex-off. During the match itself, though, Lockwood took things much further and planted Punk with a massive Powerbomb in the center of the ring.

Punk, Borne, and Heights still picked up the win despite the Powerbomb. After the event, Punk thanked the fans and the NXT talent.
