Paige Confirms When She’ll Return to WWE to Settle Score with Nikki Bella

Paige says she’ll be back in WWE next week, one week after Nikki and Brie Bella turned on her at SummerSlam.

Paige responded on X after the 8/7 episode of SmackDown, where Nikki explained in a pre-taped segment why she and Brie attacked her at SummerSlam.

“I saved your ass from getting pinned twice at summerslam.. I’m also the one who WON those championships. I’ll be back next week. You haven’t seen anything yet babe.”

Next week’s SmackDown takes place on 8/14 at TD Garden in Boston. As of now, Paige is not among the names advertised by the arena for the show.

The angle dates back to WrestleMania 42, where Paige stepped in for an injured Nikki Bella and won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Brie. They defended the titles four times before dropping them to Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid at Saturday Night’s Main Event on 7/18.

Nikki returned from injury on the 7/24 SmackDown and reunited with Brie and Paige to take on Fatal Influence at SummerSlam. On Night 1, Jacy Jayne pinned Paige to pick up the win for Fatal Influence. Immediately after the match, Nikki and Brie turned on Paige.
