Add as a preferred source on Google Paige didn’t wait long to fire back at The Bella Twins after Nikki and Brie turned on her following their six-woman tag loss to Fatal Influence on night one of SummerSlam on August 1.
Hours after the show wrapped in Minneapolis, the Anti-Diva took to X with a four-word warning:
“Oh you f***** up.”
The turn came moments after Jacy Jayne hit Paige with the Rolling Encore to score the win for Fatal Influence. Nikki and Brie hugged their partner and raised her arm in the middle of the ring before Nikki leveled her with a clothesline from behind, and the two went to work on her.
Nikki went after Paige’s surgically repaired neck and finished her off with the Rack Attack 2.0. Heading up the ramp, she made the motive clear, telling Paige:
“Lesson learned, don’t ever take my spot. You got that?”

That was a direct callback to WrestleMania 42. Nikki was set to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Brie, but an ankle injury opened the door for Paige’s return, and the two-time Divas Champion stepped into her spot and won the belts with Brie in a Fatal 4-Way.
The two dropped the titles to Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18 following interference from Jayne. Nikki returned six days later on SmackDown, made the save for Brie and Paige, and challenged Fatal Influence to the SummerSlam match.
Where the program goes from here is up in the air. Brie hurt her shoulder during the match, received treatment at the arena and was sent to a local hospital for scans. At the post-show press conference, Triple H said the injury seemed pretty bad but that WWE didn’t have a clean answer yet, adding that the company would pivot accordingly.
