Add as a preferred source on Google Sol Ruca had one of the biggest moments of her career at WWE Clash in Italy, capturing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship by defeating Becky Lynch.
In a recent interview with TMZ Inside the Ring, Ruca revealed that, right after she came back through the curtain, she received congratulations from Triple H, including the traditional photo with him.
“Well, I got the point. I got the picture and the point obviously. He gave me, you know, the congrats, like great job, really proud of you, all that. I had interviews right after. So it was really kind of just like go, go, go as soon as I, you know, came back, took the picture, got some feedback, and then it was interview after interview.”
“Then I did the post show. And then afterwards, some of us just like hung out and went out to catering and just kind of enjoyed the rest of our night. And yeah, just hung out with some of the girls like Bayley and Lyra and all them and it was really fun to, I feel like, finally have that moment of like, I’m here to stay in a way. So it was just a really cool experience, just the whole day, even though it was like very fast-paced. It was a lot of fun.”
Ruca’s win came last Sunday at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. The challenger overcame Lynch after escaping a Manhandle Slam and hitting the Sol Snatcher.
