With just hours to go before Saturday Night’s Main Event this Saturday, WWE has announced another match for the card at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Current United States Champion Trick Williams will face Laredo Kid on the event’s Countdown pre-show. Williams is pictured with the belt in the promotional material, though WWE has not confirmed the title will be on the line.
Williams enters the match amid his ongoing issues on Friday Night SmackDown. On last night’s show, the champion once again traded barbs with Carmelo Hayes, while Baron Corbin made it clear that Trick is the first name on his list of targets.

Laredo Kid, meanwhile, has remained a regular fixture on AAA programming. The luchador lost the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship to Rey Fenix on May 30, 2026, and was unable to win the title back in a Triple Threat Match against Fenix and Lince Dorado on June 20, 2026.
The main card for Saturday Night’s Main Event will feature CM Punk and Cody Rhodes against Gunther and Sami Zayn, Paige and Brie Bella defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, along with Danhausen against JD McDonagh and Bayley against Lyra Valkyria. Roman Reigns and New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson are also confirmed.
The main show begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, streaming on Peacock in the United States.
