WWE found itself at the center of an unusual situation on social media after posting a video of El Grande Americano during the Mexico vs. England World Cup match.

The masked wrestler appeared on the broadcast from Estadio Azteca, where England defeated the hosts 3-2 in the Round of 16. Capitalizing on the reaction, WWE shared the footage with the following caption:

“El Grande Americano had a time at the #MEXENG World Cup game and was shown on the broadcast last night 🙌”

The issue was that the post used a fan’s video and left the account name behind the footage visible. After WWE shared the clip, the user changed their handle to:

“ALL IN – AUG 30th FUC# TKO”

As a result, WWE’s official account wound up unintentionally displaying a promo for AEW‘s All In, along with a shot at TKO Group Holdings, the company that owns WWE. Once the change started making the rounds among fans, the post was taken down.

AEW’s All In is set for August 30 at Wembley Stadium in London, marking the pay-per-view’s return to the venue.
