
WWE Hall of Famer The Great Khali was involved in a car accident Saturday near Panipat Toll Plaza in Haryana, India. The former world champion walked away without any injuries.
Anil Sharma, a member of Khali’s team, said an Innova traveling ahead of the Fortuner that Khali was riding in stopped short, causing the collision.
Sharma confirmed that no one was hurt. Local outlets later corroborated the account, reporting only minor damage to Khali’s vehicle.
Dainik Jagran provided additional details on the incident. According to officials at the scene, the collision occurred around 11 a.m. Police responded and spoke with Khali, but the former WWE star declined to pursue any legal action.
Once the situation was resolved, Khali left the scene in a different vehicle and continued his trip. Indian reports have varied on his final destination, with different outlets citing Sonipat, Kurukshetra, and Delhi.
The Great Khali, real name Dalip Singh Rana, won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2007 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2021.
