Roman Reigns and LA Knight are expected to collide again, this time in a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Reigns vs. Knight is the front-runner for Money in the Bank. The match hasn’t been officially announced, though, and plans could change over the next several weeks.
Money in the Bank will take place on October 10 at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
The feud started taking more direct shape on the August 3 episode of Monday Night RAW in Des Moines. Knight interrupted Reigns during the champion’s first appearance since beating Seth Rollins at SummerSlam, telling him the OTC had been ducking a confrontation with him for months.

Knight demanded a clean title shot with no interference from The Bloodline. Reigns rejected the challenge, arguing that the Megastar hadn’t won a tournament or battle royal to earn the opportunity.
The story between the two had already been brewing at Clash in Italy on May 31. After retaining the title against Jacob Fatu, Reigns name-dropped Knight as a potential future opponent. In the weeks that followed, Knight became directly involved in the war against The Bloodline, picking up the win for his team at SummerSlam by pinning Jey Uso.
The only previous singles match between Reigns and Knight came at Crown Jewel on November 4, 2023, when Reigns retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
