Alexa Bliss was indeed part of WWE‘s plans for The Wyatt Sicks. Joe Gacy revealed as much, saying the idea was presented to the group during the very first meeting at company headquarters.
Gacy said the initial direction was for the stable to debut first and bring Bliss in once she was ready to return to television.
“It was talked about two times. Our very first meeting, the very first meeting at headquarters early on, they basically told us ‘we’re gonna have you guys debut, and then when Alexa is ready to come back she’ll join you guys’.”
The Wyatt Sicks debuted on RAW on June 17, 2024, while Bliss didn’t return to the ring until the Royal Rumble on February 1, 2025, after roughly two years on the shelf.
The plan resurfaced later. Gacy revealed that Bliss sat in on creative meetings with faction members and pitched her own ideas. That stretch coincided with The Wyatt Sicks’ return to SmackDown on May 23, 2025, before Gacy and Dexter Lumis captured the WWE Tag Team Championship on July 11.
“We did have meetings to talk about ideas and pitch ideas, she was involved in the meetings, she had some ideas she pitched on her own.”
“I thought around that time she was going to get involved with us and then they decided to go another direction, and I just always thought it was a little silly that you have her on the show, wearing the same gear, having odes to Windham and the Wyatt Family, and sometimes we’re immediately after her coming out, and there’s no mention, no interaction, nothing. I just thought it was a huge missed opportunity and very strange.
“I try to always look at things from the fans perspective. If I was a fan I’d be like, ‘why is there nothing going on right there?’ Even if it’s as simple as a glance backstage, or an entrance, something little just to like tease something. I just don’t think that stuff is that difficult to write. I wish it happened but it did not.”
Notably, on that same July 11 SmackDown, Bliss won a Fatal 4-Way Match using the Sister Abigail while Gacy and Lumis defeated the Street Profits to capture the tag titles. No interaction between Bliss and the stable ever took place.
