AAA has expanded its presence in the gaming market, announcing a new collaboration with Free Fire, the mobile battle royale developed by Garena.

The campaign was revealed through a commercial that aired during the first week of Verano de Escándalo, held this Saturday, July 25, at Arena San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Rey Mysterio is the biggest name in the partnership. As of press time, Free Fire’s international news page had not published a full announcement with a release date, available items or characters.

This isn’t the first collaboration between Free Fire and AAA. In 2022, during celebrations of the Mexican promotion’s 30th anniversary, the game added new characters and features inspired by La Parka, Aerostar and Lady Shani.

The new partnership was unveiled just as Free Fire closed out its ninth-anniversary celebration, which Garena has been running from June 24 to July 26.

The game remains available for Android and iOS and has been the most downloaded mobile battle royale in its genre for seven consecutive years.
