Add as a preferred source on Google Lucha Libre AAA has revealed the official poster for Verano de Escandalo 2026, the promotion’s next major event. The show goes down Saturday, July 25, at Arena San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
The reveal comes just days after Rey Mysterio announced that the special will run for three weeks, with a different main event headlining each edition.
The top rivalry heading into the show involves Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano. On the latest episode of AAA, the reigning Mega Champion surprised everyone by saving his future challenger from a Perros del Mal attack, then proposed a tag team match against the group at Verano de Escandalo.
Dominik and Americano, however, are already scheduled to face off for the AAA Mega Championship at Triplemania in September.
Elsewhere on the card, Rey Fenix will defend the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Mini Vikingo, while Flammer puts the Reina de Reinas Championship on the line against Lady Shani and La Catalina.
The AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship will also be defended, as Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana take on the winners of La Hiedra and Laredo Kid vs. Faby Apache and Joaquin Wilde.
