Stephanie Vaquer has spoken out against WWE fans’ requests for free personalized videos.

In an Instagram Story, Vaquer explained that those videos are part of her job and that there are rules for fulfilling the requests.

Vaquer shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation along with her comments. In the screenshot, a fan reached out to someone whose private number had reportedly been passed along by a producer. He wanted a video with a special message for his daughter’s school team, but the recipient didn’t know who was asking.

“Hey, sorry, how did you get my WhatsApp number?” the recipient said. “Do we know each other?”

The fan replied that he did not know the recipient and explained how he got the number.

“No, buddy, I’m a fan of yours,” he said. “A producer from here gave me your contact information. Can you help me out with the shoutout?”

The recipient ended up agreeing to help, but another message in the conversation showed their reaction to the unexpected request.

“I don’t know whether to tell him to f*** off or laugh…,” the recipient said. “I’d rather just laugh…”

Vaquer used the example to talk about the time she spends recording videos. She said fans tend to treat the requests as if they take no effort.

“It’s funny, but people don’t realize that sometimes we spend six or seven hours recording videos,” Vaquer said. “That’s basically an entire day every week, and everyone thinks, ‘Making one video doesn’t cost you anything.’”

She also explained that she is paid to record personalized messages and that the work is subject to rules.

“Guys, this is part of my job,” she said. “I’m not trying to be rude, but some people need to understand that, in my case, this is paid work and it’s regulated.”

She added that she needs permission to use her own likeness in the videos.

“To make a video, I have to use my image, and for that, I need to ask for permission, which isn’t easy,” Vaquer said. “That’s it.”

This isn’t the first time Vaquer has set boundaries with fans. On March 31, she publicly responded to a man who accused her of being rude after he was denied a photo and an autograph.
