Add as a preferred source on Google Kevin Knight is the newest member of the Don Callis Family.
The announcement came on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite from the Siegel Center in Richmond, Virginia, shortly before his AEW TNT Championship defense against “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
Don Callis, alongside Jake Doyle, interrupted an Andrade El Idolo segment to reveal that Knight had joined the Family. Andrade had just defeated a local talent and said he was coming after the AEW World Championship.
Knight’s move to the group came just days after the end of JetSpeed. As seen on last week’s show, Bailey tried to get the champion to apologize for attacking Darby Allin at Double or Nothing, but Knight hit him with a microphone, effectively ending their partnership.
Knight’s first match as a member of the Don Callis Family also took place on the same show. He defeated Bailey and retained the AEW TNT Championship.
With the win, Knight remains TNT Champion and is now looking for a match against MJF for the AEW World Championship.
