The possibility of Xena heading to WWE/AAA has gained traction in recent hours.
According to False Finish, people within AAA and WWE expect the wrestler to sign with the company once she officially wraps up her STARDOM run on July 8. As of now, there has been no official confirmation from WWE, AAA, or Xena herself.
The speculation started just days after Xena announced her departure from STARDOM. The Australian wrestler revealed during The Conversion 2026 that her farewell match will take place on July 8 at Korakuen Hall, ending a run of roughly three years with the Japanese promotion.
Some within AAA and WWE are expecting Xena to join the company once she finishes up with STARDOM on Wednesday, July 8.

Xena arrived in STARDOM in 2023 as a member of Club Venus, the group led by Mina Shirakawa. She later became part of Empress Nexus Venus and won the Artist of Stardom Championship alongside Shirakawa and Maika.
Another detail fueling the rumors is the recent AAA involvement of her real-life partner, Daga. He recently returned to the promotion as part of the new version of Perros del Mal, a faction that also includes Los Garza, Bronco Nima, and Karmen Petrovic.
Should the deal actually happen, Xena would become another international addition to AAA since WWE acquired the company, a move that has already led to several names joining the roster throughout 2026.
