Killer Kross, who left WWE in August 2025, has opened up about a behind-the-scenes situation tied to his interest in acting in film.
In a recent interview with The Wrestling Classic, Kross said he attended an internal meeting where executives discussed the opportunities the formation of TKO could create for wrestlers in other areas of entertainment.
After the meeting, Kross approached WWE and made it clear that he did not want to leave pro wrestling, though he was interested in trying his hand at some acting roles.
“So I followed up afterwards once the meeting was done, and I said, ‘Hey, listen. I’m not looking to leave wrestling. I love wrestling. It’s my first passion. I don’t even know what life would be like without wrestling. But I would be interested in attempting to take on some, you know, different acting roles and stuff like that.’”
According to Kross, WWE told him to check back in October and said it would fly him to Los Angeles, where he would be introduced to people who could help him. He said he followed up and tried again a few months later, but nothing came of it.
“I was told to follow up in October, and I’d be flown into Los Angeles and they’d introduce me to all these people and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I followed up, and none of that ever happened. And then I waited a couple more months and I followed up, and none of that ever happened.”
That led Kross to pursue acting on his own. Blue Evening, a short film in which he acted and served as an executive producer, screened at several festivals in 2025. Along the way, it won Best Film at the Las Vegas Premier Film Festival and Best Drama Short at the Chain NYC Film Festival, among other honors.
Kross is also part of the cast of Godshot, a film directed by Gabriel Beristain that features Ron Perlman, William Forsythe, Joe Miñoso, and Jon Seda.
In the ring, Kross currently holds the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.
