Penta Enjoying High-Profile Run in WWE

Penta continues to enjoy one of the best stretches of his WWE run, and the attention he is drawing has extended beyond the ring.

Penta had the fourth-highest search interest of any WWE wrestler in September, according to a WrestleSeek analysis of worldwide Google Trends data. Roman Reigns topped the list.

Penta’s climb stands out most when compared with August, when he did not even crack WWE’s top 10. In the third week of September, he rose as high as third, trailing only Reigns and Logan Paul.

That period coincided with a high-profile run for Penta on WWE television. On September 14, Penta challenged Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of RAW in Mexico City but came up short.

A week later in San Antonio, Penta took Solo Sikoa’s place in a triple threat match and defeated Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee to earn a spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Google Trends figures reflect relative search interest, not the total number of searches. WrestleSeek ranks WWE’s active roster by comparing each name’s worldwide search interest.

Penta is now confirmed for the ladder match at Money in the Bank on October 10, along with Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, CM Punk and Kevin Owens.
