Roderick Strong, who joined AEW in April 2023, appears to be very happy with his time in the company.

During a recent appearance on Tony Schiavone and Conrad Thompson’s What Happened When, Strong discussed his current run in AEW, as well as his overall pro-wrestling career. The episode also looked back at matches against Hiroshi Tanahashi and Will Ospreay.

“I feel great. I absolutely love my time in AEW. I’ve had the opportunity to do a lot of things I never thought I would. The roster is awesome, I love it. We are all making each other better.”

The comments come during a positive stretch for Strong on AEW programming. In March, he officially became part of The Conglomeration alongside Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly after spending time around the group.

A few weeks later at AEW Dynasty, Strong, Cassidy, and O’Reilly defeated The Dogs to win the AEW World Trios Championship. The victory also marked O’Reilly’s return to the ring after time away due to injury.

The trio remains active. On the June 27 episode of AEW Collision, Strong, Cassidy, and O’Reilly defended the titles against The Opps, the team of Hook, Katsuyori Shibata, and Anthony Bowens, retaining the belts ahead of Forbidden Door.

Before this current run, Strong had already won the AEW International Championship and was also an important part of the storyline involving Adam Cole, MJF, and the Undisputed Kingdom.
