Tiffany Stratton has shut down one of the most talked-about rumors in recent months involving WWE backstage.

The current WWE Women’s United States Champion denied that Giovanni Vinci was fired for allegedly flirting with her while he was still with the company.

During a Twitch stream, Stratton said the story is not true and called it completely false.

“You guys… that might be the craziest one I have ever heard. That did not happen. That is not true. There is no truth to that. I hope he’s doing amazing. I heard he just signed with TNA and I think he’s gonna kill it. So, absolutely no truth to that. That’s a complete false accusation.”

Vinci, who has returned to using the name Fabian Aichner, was released by WWE in February 2025. Before that, he was part of Imperium alongside Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser, and also returned to SmackDown as a singles wrestler before his exit.

It should be noted that Aichner made a surprise appearance on the May 14 episode of TNA iMPACT! shortly after Cedric Alexander defeated Leon Slater to win the X-Division Championship. The former WWE star confronted Alexander at the end of the show, making it clear he should immediately enter the title picture.

So while the rumor gained traction on social media, Stratton herself made a point of denying any connection between her and Vinci’s WWE departure.
