Tonight’s RAW at Arena CDMX could cap an unusual run of world title changes across WWE and AAA. If Penta defeats Roman Reigns, it would mark four consecutive days of world championships changing hands.
The streak started Friday, when Sami Zayn defeated CM Punk in the main event of SmackDown, also in Mexico City, to win the Undisputed WWE Championship for the second time.
On Saturday, Stephanie Vaquer beat Liv Morgan at a WWE live event in Santiago, Chile, to regain the Women’s World Championship, ending Morgan’s 148-day reign.
The run continued Sunday on Night 2 of AAA Triplemanía 34. El Grande Americano defeated Dominik Mysterio in a No Disqualification Match to win the AAA Mega Championship.

Now Penta has the chance to make it four straight. He earned his title shot by winning a tournament featuring WWE and AAA talent, beating Laredo Kid, La Parka, and his brother Rey Fénix in the final.
Penta is a former Intercontinental Champion but hasn’t held a world title in WWE.
Reigns has held the World Heavyweight Championship since beating CM Punk at WrestleMania 42 in April.
