Switchblade teamed with Juice Robinson against The Dogs’ David Finlay and Clark Connors in a Double Chain Match, and took a scary bump during the match when he was dropped on his head on a Dominator.
PWInsider reports that despite the initial concern, people asked about White’s condition gave no indication that he’s expected to miss significant time.
That runs counter to a Wrestling Noticias report from yesterday, which had White potentially on the shelf for several months based on how bad the injury looked at the time.
No diagnosis has been made public, and there’s no date set for White’s next match.
The update is a big relief for AEW, as White only got back in the ring on 7/2 after 15 months off television. He was originally out with a broken hand, and the absence dragged on when shoulder issues followed. Tony Khan said in August 2025 that White would be out of action for a long time.
Redemption was just White’s third match since coming back. He also worked an eight-man tag on the 7/2 Collision and beat Connors on the 7/22 Dynamite.
